Apparatus for Carburetting Air

Gas holders.-In an apparatus for carburetting air, a gas holder B is employed which is surrounded by four basins C , C , C , C for the gasoline or like liquid used in carburetting, the actual carburetting taking place in the basin C The bell of the holder is provided with two pulleys, over which two weighted cords pass, one connected to the valve for passing gas from the gas main to a hotair motor burner, and the other to a lever fixed on the air valve of an air pump which forces the air first through urine and then through the carburetting-basin C . By this arrangement, the motor and the pump driven thereby are both regulated from the movements of the bell.
