Zusammenfassung: | 5938. Guillou, H. March 10. Stoppers; refilling, preventing.- Relates to means for stoppering bottles and like receptacles, to prevent them from being refilled. A conical valve c, provided with a grooved or ribbed stem c and with a screwed nipple c , is ground to a seat s in the neck, the nipple serving as a hold for the valve during the grinding operation, and, also, for the attachment of the retaining-spring r. One or more baffle rings b and the tubular nozzle b are inserted and fixed in the neck above the valve, the ring or rings and nozzle being formed with partitions b , to prevent tampering with the valve. The nozzle is also formed with a bead d, or with a flange, adapted to bear on the top of the neck. The spring r is made of such a strength that it permits the valve to open when the bottle is inverted, but holds it on its seat when the bottle is in an approximately horizontal position. In a modification, the valve seat is formed in a tubular casing fixed in the neck, the casing also enclosing the parts b, b , r, c'. |
