Zusammenfassung: | 29,954. Wenigmann, C. Dec. 17. Ball bearings for velocipedes. In order to keep the bottom bracket bearings as far apart as possible and to afford a large and firm bearing-race, the cone b on the driving-side is fixed in the bracket e. The cup d is mounted in the chain-wheel or bevel-wheel r. Similarly the cup of the bearing on the driving-side of the hub is mounted in the wheel r . When the driving power is transmitted by bevel gearing, the wheels r , r are connected by a tube e surrounding the rod s which connects the wheel axle with the bottom bracket. The cones h, l are independent of the rod s, being mounted on the pieces g, n attached to the bracket and axle. The bearing-cups i are fixed in the wheels r , r . |
