Zusammenfassung: | 5684. Malke, F. E., and Oberlõnder, F. H. March 13. Spring motors for automatic musical instruments. Means are provided to prevent overwinding the spring drum and for regulating the speed. The pinion q, having inclined teeth engaging with similar teeth on the surface of the drum, is mounted loosely on a sleeve n of the winding-shaft r, to which is attached a disk p having projections o which normally engage with depressions y in the pinion q, a spring z adjusted by a cotter o* assisting this action. When the drum is wound up, the projections o disengage from the pinion. The speed is controlled by a friction governor, and can be regulated, and the motor can be started and stopped by means of external handles. |
