Zusammenfassung:	1466309 Bearings GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE STERKRADE AG 22 Oct 1974 [2 Nov 1973] 45547/74 Heading F2A A bridge bearing comprising two relatively tiltable bearing parts 1, 2 is adapted so that it may be employed during the installation of the bridge by providing a wedge member 10 between the bearing parts and means 25 for preventing tilting of the parts during installation. Means 11 are provided for preventing relative sliding movement between the bearing parts. The sliding surface 21 on the upper surface of the top bearing part is preferably a rubberized PTFE cushion during installation which may be replaced after the bearing part is lowered by the removal of the wedge 10.
