Zusammenfassung: | 130,895. Miller, F. W. Jan. 28, 1919. Buttons; sleevelinks.-In securing the attachment eyes of enamel buttons, badges, sleeve-links, ornaments, or the like, the ends 4 of the eye 3 are passed through a washer 5, and a hole in a flanged metallic backing 1, the ends being spread out over a second washer 6. Enamel 7 in a powdered state is then laid on the backing and fused, the molten enamel penetrating the interstices between the parts and rigidly locking the shank in position. The eye 3 may have a single shank which is headed over the washer 6, and the washers may be omitted, a thicker backing being used. |
