Zusammenfassung:1292273 Door operating mechanism BIRM INGHAM SMALL ARMS CO Ltd 15 Oct 1969 [17 July 1968] 34070/68 Heading E2M A door operating mechanism for a door 1, Fig. 2, which swings upwardly into a horizontal position when opened, comprises a lever 6 pivotally mounted on door-mounted lug 12 and on plate 9 secured to door jamb 2, and a lever 7 pivotally mounted on door-mounted lug 13 and on plate 9. Counter balance spring 8 is connected to the bent end 16 of lever 6 and to jamb-mounted lug 15. When the door is fully opened the lever end 16 abuts edge 18 of plate 9, Fig. 3. Plate 9 is secured by an angle bracket on the jamb. Lugs 12, 13 form part of bracket 14 secured to the door. Two such mechanisms, one on either side of the door, are used to operate the door.
