Zusammenfassung:1291774 Hydrazine FILIAL ORDENA LENINA INSTITUTA KHIMICHESKOI FIZIKI ANSSSR 28 Aug 1970 [12 Jan 1970] 41470/70 Heading C1A Hydrazine is prepared by reducing gasous N 2 with a chloride or sulphate of Ti3+, Cr2+ or V2+, a Mo5+ or Mo6+ compound, e.g. MoC3l 5 , MoCl 3 sodium molybdate or potassium molybdate being present when the reducing agent is Ti3+ or Cr2+. The reduction may be effected in a medium of H 2 O, methanol or ethanol having a temperature of 20 to 100‹ C. and a pH of above 8 at a nitrogen pressure of 1 to 150 atmospheres. The molybdenum compounds may be used when V2+ is the reducing agent and magnesium, calcium, barium or tetravalent titanium may also be present in the solution.
