Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:1283303 Tumbling TSENTRALNOE KONSTRUKTORSKOE BJURO OBORUDOVANIA GALVANOPOKRYTY PRI TAMBOVSKOM MEKHANICHESKOM ZAVODE 6 July 1970 32626/70 Heading B3D [Also in Division C7] A device for surface treating articles, e.g. electro-plating nuts, bolts or caps in bulk with Cu, Sn or Zn, comprises a rotatable drum 1 mounted on journals 2, 3 on a frame 4 and having an outwardly protruding neck 16 with loading hole 17, a drive gear 5 rotatable about the drum's rotation axis, a door 7 rigidly connected to the drive gear eccentrically with respect to the axis so that when the gear is rotated, e.g. by drive 6 in one sense A, the door abuts against the drum closing the hole and rotating the drum for treating the articles, e.g. in a plating bath. The door may be arcuate or flat. The drum may be polyhedral or have a circular cross-section. A stop 19 may be provided on the drum to interact with the door when the drive gear is rotated in the opposite sense B, thereby rotating the drum to discharge the treated articles when the hole is in the lower position (Fig. 3). The current supply system 20 may comprise vertical and horizontal bus-bars 21-23 with replaceable contacts 24. Instead of electroplating, chemical, anodic, sand-blasting or tumbling treatment may be applied. (For Figures see next column)
