Zusammenfassung:1279728 Cinematographic apparatus EASTMAN KODAK CO 30 Oct 1969 [31 Oct 1968] 53251/69 Heading G2E A cine projector includes a mechanism for separating leading end of the roll of film on a supply reel and comprises a stripper 35 movable about pivot 70 to engage the periphery of the roll 28 and separate the free end of the film as the roll is rotated in the unwinding sense by frictional engagement of the roll periphery by a driving belt member 34 pivotable at 49, movement of stripper 35 and member 34 to their operating positions being effected by a manually operable lever 17. A drive control member consisting of a rod 129 rotatable about its longitudinal axis to "forward" or "reverse" positions as an end 132 is engaged by a cam surface 133 of interlock lever 124. When projection is completed film tension increases to depress snubber 83 whose pin 134 displaces a trigger surface 135. This displacement disengages trigger latch tooth 121 from a support plate 118 which then pivots anti-clockwise about stud 119 to displace interlock lever 124 and hence cam 133 to shift rod 129 to the "reverse" position. The movement of plate 118 also shifts lever 107 whose fingers 108, 109 open the spring-loaded halves 91, 95 of the gate as the projector enters the rewind mode. Manual control of rod 129 is possible by use of pin 134. A spring-loaded re-view handle 18 may be manually turned to pivot interlock lever 124 and so shift rod 129 to the "reverse" position. The projector then re-winds until handle 68 is released when forward drive re-commences.
