Zusammenfassung:	1277913 Piezo-electric microphones STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd 29 July 1970 36706/70 Addition to 1277912 Heading H4J The bone conduction microphone as claimed in any one of claims 1-8 of the parent Specification is modified by suspending the piezo-electric element 1 from a mounting ring 3 by a material which does not transmit vibrations. The mounting ring is made of plastics material or hard rubber and the material 2 is a fine gauze, e.g. of nylon. The element may be mounted directly on the membrane or be attached to a drive spindle attached to the membrane. The element can be provided with edge weight loading. An amplifier may be located on the wall of the mounting ring.
