A single load carrying frame member 19 of a hand trolley is pivotally connected through a bracket 22 to a member 11 of a wheeled frame so as to be movable to an inoperative position adjacent member 11. A load carrying platform or seat 26 is pivotally mounted on the member 19 and a seat back 29 may be provided to allow the trolley to be used as a push chair. A catch 23 is provided to retain the member 19 in the operative position, and a peg 17 rotatably mounted in sleeve 18 may be inserted between the wheel spokes 16 to effect braking. The trolley is provided with a handle 20 which may be telescopically mounted within the member 19.
