According to the invention, a dished plate or skeleton member 1 is adapted to slide down the stem of the ship, conveniently along guides 11, until it reaches the working position shown, when it is swung against the stem and fastened thereto by chains 3, 3 ; and the member 1 is made with a forwardly and downwardly projecting end 6 to which the tow lines are attached. |
