Zusammenfassung:1,255,089. Measuring length. SCHWERMASCHINENBAU-KOMBINAT ERNST THAL. MANN VEB. 24 Nov., 1969, No. 57379/69. Heading G4H. In apparatus for measuring the length of e.g. a wire fed round a drum 1, Fig. 2, pulses derived inductively, capacitively or optically for each revolution of the drum are fed via a trigger circuit 13 (Fig. 1) to a counter 5, the counter also receiving with for example a known error of 2% undermeasurement an additional counting pulse for every 50 pulses. This additional pulse is generated by also counting the pulses from trigger circuit 13 in counter 6, the outputs from which are connected via diode matrices 7 to switches 8 preset e.g. to recognize a count of 50 so that after that count a pulse is fed via a delay 10 to the counter, this pulse also resetting the counter.
