Zusammenfassung: | 1,242,703. Electrolytic marking devices. METALETCH Ltd. Dec. 4, 1969 [Dec. 6, 1968], No. 58077/68. Heading C7B. An electrolytic marking device comprises a marking head 1 having an electrode 9, e.g. of wire mesh, and including an absorbent pad 10 for retaining electrolyte, and an insulating stencil 12 adapted to make surface-to-surface contact with the head, the surface of the head and/or the surface of the stencil being such that, e.g. carrying a repeatably tacky adhesive 13 or a material having a repeatable affinity for a cooperating material, the stencil can be affixed to the head and removed therefrom repeatedly by making and breaking of a surface-to-surface bond. A plastic detachable rectangular section ring 7 may encircle a main block 3 and lower portion 6 of the head to define a recess which accommodates the pad, the complete end face 18 of the ring being covered with the adhesive or material. A sheet of fabric 8 may cover the pad and be retained by the ring. |
