[Also in Division C3] A continuous floor is made by reacting on a concrete substrate (i) one equivalent of an alcoholysis product made by reacting together at 220‹C or above (a) 25-75 equ. % of a hydroxyl polyester prepared from at least one dicarboxylic acid and containing less than 20 mol % of aromatic dicarboxylic acid (based on the acid constituent), both the polyester (b) and the alcoholysis product having an equivalent weight of 200-400, and (ii) 0.8-1.5 equivalents of a mixture of polyaryl alkylene polyisocyanates of the formula wherein R is a radical obtained by removing the carbonyl oxygen from an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic aldehyde or ketone, X is a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group or a hydrogen atom, m is 1 to 3, and n has an average valve of 0.5-1.5. Pigments and fillers e.g. CaCO 3 CaSO 4 may be mixed with the alcoholysis product before curing.
