[Also in Division C5] Wax polishes comprise a mixture of waxes dissolved or dispersed in a solvent and 1-30% by wt., based on the wax content, of beads from 0À01-50 Á in size of copolymers of at least one monomer containing one polymerizable double bond and at least one monomer with two or more double bonds. Preferred copolymers consist of styrene and 2-8% by wt. divinyl benzene. Other specified monomers are vinyl toluene, methyl, ethyl and butyl acrylates and methacrylates and vinyl acetate on the one hand, and ethylene glycol diacrylate and dimethacrylate, divinyl ketone, and divinyl oxalate on the other. The wax constituent may be a polyethylene.
