A thermoplastic moulding composition comprises finely-divided fibre-reinforced thermoplastic polymeric material; 30-70 wt. per cent coal-tar pitch; and 10-60 wt. per cent non- fibre-reinforced polyvinyl chloride, preferably plasticized. Exemplified compositions comprise 4.3-40.7 wt. per cent of fibre-reinforced thermoplastic, 4.5-8.8 wt. per cent of nitrile rubber, and 3.1-3.2 wt. per cent stabilizer.
