Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:1,172,278. Photo-sensitive compositions. EASTMAN KODAK CO. April 6, 1967 [April 7, 1966; Feb.16, 1967], No.15857/67. Heading G2C. A photo-sensitive composition comprises (i) a protein (ii) a proteolytic enzyme which may be in an inactive chelate or metal salt complex form and (iii) a photo-sensitive substance which either catalyses the photo-oxidation of the enzyme to an inative state on exposure to light or catalyse the conversion of the inactive complex or chelate to the active enzyme. Specified proteins are gelatin, globutins and casein. Specified enzymes are papain, trypsin, bromelin, erepsin, pepsin, rennin or chymotrypsin which may be chelated with EDTA or complexed with HgCl 2 . Specified photosensitizers are rose bengal erythrosin or eosin, riboflavin, methylene blue, thionine, proflavine or acriflavine. The image is developed by treatment of the exposed material with water. The image may be hardened and/or dyed.
