[Also in Division B8] The chassis of a lift truck comprises a centre portion 26, which supports a hollow post 22 about which the mast 1 and cab 23 are rotatable, and four box members 34-37 connected thereto by girders 38-41, and is supported on wheels 19, 20, a castor wheel 18 and a driven steering wheel 17. Steering is effected by a wheel 7 through reduction gears 8 and epicyclic gears 42-44, the latter being secured to a shaft 9 passing through the bore in the post 22 and keyed to a gear-wheel 15 connected, by a chain 32, to the wheel unit 16.
