N - (3 - Methylbicyclo - [3,21] - oct - 6 - ene - 3- yl) acetamide is prepared by reacting 2-methylallyl iodide in dichloromethane with a suspension of silver tetrafluoroborate in cyclopentadiene, acetonitrile and dichloromethane at - 60‹ C. 2-(21-Methylallyl)-furan is prepared reacting 2-methylallyl iodide in benzene with an icecooled suspension of silver trichloroacetate in furan and benzene. |
