Zusammenfassung:	1,153,017. Reactor for liquids. GOSUDARSTVENNY NAUCHNO-ISSLEDOVATELSKY I PROEKTNY, INSTITUT AZOTNOI PROMYSHLENNOSTI I PRODUKTOV ORGANICHESKOGO SINTEZA. 2 Feb., 1967, No. 5161/67. Heading B1F. In a process in which liquids to be mixed and reacted together in a thin film on the surface 2 of heat exchanger 1 are discharged separately on to surface 2 through holes 12 in grooves 11 in the wall of rotating drum 8, liquids introduced into rotating chambers 18 and 19 respectively are discharged through holes 22, 23 onto stationary cylinders 20, 21 thence onto annular discs 9 and 10 rotating with the drum 8 and through apertures 14 and 15 in rims 16 and 17 respectively into different grooves ,12. The liquids are then discharged separately onto surface 2 as above. The reaction mixture from the surface 2 is collected in annular trough 24 and introduced to a similar apparatus underneath via trough 25. Additional reactants can be added via troughs 24 and 26.
