Zusammenfassung: | 1,152,855. Corrugated-board laminates. WEYERHAEUSER CO. 28 Nov., 1966, No. 53174/66. Heading B5N. [Also in Division D2] A linerboard for corrugated containerboard comprises two layers adjacent to one another. Both layers contain a rosin sizing agent, the upper layer contains also a wax moistureproofing agent, and both have a partially cured thermosetting resin e.g. phenol-formaldehyde, urea-formaldehyde, melamine-formaldehyde or mixtures thereof, with or without starch, impregnated into their outer surfaces. A corrugated containerboard may be formed by forming linerboards as above, placing a waximpregnated corrugated medium with an adhesive on the tips of its corrugations between two of the linerboards, and heating to set the adhesive and cure the thermosetting resin. |
