Zusammenfassung: | 1,136,956. Electro erosion. A. P. GROMOV, E. N. LUKASHEVA, A. V. GLAZKOV, A. L. LIVSHITS, V. E. POLOTSKY, M. V. SCHERBAK and V. V. POZHALKIN. 7 April, 1966, No. 15550/66. Heading B3V. In an electro-erosion process, the workpiece 2 and electrode 5 are immersed in a bath of liquid consisting of at least two immiscible components 3, 4 of different specific weights, and a further more dense liquid is caused to pass downwards through the working area for removing the erosion residue and for cooling the bath. The upper layer of liquid 3 is preferably oil or kerosene and the lower layer 4 is an alkali, weak acid, solution of neutral salts or water. This is withdrawn with the erosion residue through an outlet 6. Water or an aqueous solution of acids, salts or alkalis is circulated to a distributer 7 where it passes downwardly through the lighter liquid 3; alternatively it may also be fed through ducts in the electrode 5. Reference is made to the erosion of hard alloys and heat resistant steels. |
