Cramps and clamps; prizing-tools.-A combined tool for opening leaf springs of automobiles &c., and for lifting the valve springs of internalcombustion engines, comprises a frame A having a hard steel point A opposite the pointed end of the screw A for prizing open the leaves of the spring S, and a projecting part B co-operating with the forked end C of an angle-lever C for lifting the cap D' and spring D of the valve D' for removal of the cotter D . The arm C' of the lever C is operated by the screw A removed from the boss A and insertetd in the laterally projecting boss A . The pivot C of the lever C may be adjustably fixed to the frame A in a slot as shown.
