Zusammenfassung: | 1,100,119. Radar. CAMBRIDGE CONSULTANTS Ltd. 10 June, 1966 [12 March, 1965], No. 10629/65. Heading H4D. The height of material in a container (or heap) is measured by an F.M.C.W. radar affording a beat frequency proportional to that height. The frequency may be indicated on a meter calibrated in feet. Differentiation with respect to time of the output signal may be added to indicate the rate at which the container is being filled. Undesired reflexions are obviated by an amplitude discriminator or by the use of a variable frequency filter. An alarm may be sounded when the material reaches a predetermined level A plurality of radars may be arranged around the material. |
