Zusammenfassung: | 1,098,594. Incorporating photographic ingredients into colloids. GEVAERT - AGFA N. V. Jan. 25, 1965, No. 3151/65. Heading G2C. A photographic colour coupler or mask forming compound is incorporated into a hydrophilic photographic colloid by dissolving the coupler or compound in formamide, blending said solution with the colloid and removing the formamide. The colloid may be a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion or a colloid to be added to such an emulsion. In the latter case, the formamide may be removed from the colloid before or after mixing with the emulsion. Removal of the formamide may be by washing the gelled and noodled colloid with the water, by evaporation from the gel under vacuum or by evaporation after coating on a support. The formamide may contain a moistening agent such as saponin, aryl-alkyl sulphonates and polyoxyalkylene compounds. Colloids specified are gelatine, polyvinyl alcohol, zein and casein. |
