Zusammenfassung: | 1,095,092. Working metal; grinding. EXPERIMENTAL'NY NAUCHNO-ISSLEDOVATEL'SKY INSTITUTE METALLOREZHUSHCHIKH STANKOV. May 21, 1964, [Nov. 21, 1963], No. 46074/63. Headings B3D and B3H. In the plastic deformation of a workpiece 1 by a tool 3, the tool or workpiece is given a two component vibration during the deformation. In one embodiment, Fig. 1, the tool 3 is vibrated by a crank 9 driven through gearbox 7 by motor 6. Rotation of the tool is prevented by a parallel linkage 10 or by similar linkages, Figs. 2-4 (not shown). The workpiece 1 is fed by a leadscrew 4. Alternatively the workpiece may be vibrated instead of the tool. In another embodiment, Fig. 7, the workpiece or tool is vibrated in the direction x, y against spring loading by cams 33, 28 respectively. In another embodiment, Fig. 13, the tool holder 79 is given a circular non-rotary movement by an eccentric ring 102 driven through hollow shaft 81 by pulley 89. The eccentricity of the ring relatively to its driving shaft is adjustable by a worm 125 and gearing 95, 96, 97, 99, 83. Rotation of the tool holder is prevented by parallel linkage 118-121, Fig. 14, and swarf is removed through a flexible tube 109. An abrasive suspension may be fed into the gap between the tool and workpiece. |
