Zusammenfassung: | 1,091,863. Electro-photographic apparatus. ARLSIDE Ltd. July 9, 1965 [April 9, 1964], No. 14709/64. Heading G2H. An endless belt 8 with a photo-conductive coating, e. g. as described in Specification 1,091,862 passes around rollers 19, 20, 21 and 22 beneath corona wire 18 which applies a sensitizing electrostatic charge. An original 4 fed by an endless belt 2 is then prbjected by mirrors 5 and 7 and lens 6 on to the belt to form an electrostatic latent image that is developed by a powder cloud apparatus 23 which may be as described in Specification 1,089,411 or a cascade, liquid, or magnetic development apparatus. The developed image is given a further charge by corona wire 24 and then passed through the nip between rollers 21 and 25 to transfer the developed image to a copy sheet fed by feed rollers 13. A selector device 15 actuated by a solenoid 14 under the control of a counter X deflects an original to a tray 16 or into feeding position for a further copying operation. Residual developer on the belt 8 is removed by cleaning unit 29 similar to that described in Specification 1, 052, 019. |
