Zusammenfassung: | 1,091,348. Feeding sheets. LEIPZIGER BUCHBINDEREIMASCHINENWERKE VEB. Feb. 23, 1965, No. 7792/65. Addition to 1,047,614. Heading B6B. In apparatus as claimed in Specification 1,047,614 for separating sheets from the top of a stack, wherein an air blast is directed against the side of the stack adjacent the top sheets by a nozzle which has an upper extension 5 thereof which rests on the top sheet 15 of the stack 14, the nozzle body 1, 2 is rotatably mounted by a bearing 9 on a U-shaped hollow arm 8, and the other end of the arm is rotatably mounted in a bearing 10 in a block 7 for movement in a plane which is parallel to the plane 16 of the stack 14. A lever 12a carrying a counterweight is attached to the arm 8, and is also attached to a vibration damper 11. The block 7 is fastened to a base support by permanent magnets or other means, and is capable of being tilted and held in such position by a clamp screw 18, whereby the nozzle extension 5 can more evenly rest on a stack which is humped at the centre. Compressed air is supplied to the arm 8 from a hose 3. The extension 5 is provided with stop members 13 which register the top sheets of the stack, and may have louvre-like apertures 17, Figs. 4-6 (not shown), through which air escapes upwardly to hold the top sheet 15 close against the extension. |
