Zusammenfassung: | 109,083. Chevallier, C. Aug. 28, 1916. Track apparatus actuating signals on trains; lamp signals.-A shutter is moved to obscure one of two differently coloured windows b, c in front of a lamp casing a by pneumatic cylinders r connected to compressible air chambers p, from which air is forced by plungers o raised by contact of the lower end of the rod n , or preferably a lever q to which the rod n is jointed, with a track ramp. The rods n for the danger and clear signals are connected by a rod v so that one is lowered when the other is raised. Friction springs w retain the rods n after operation. The shutter is arranged on inclined guides so that it tends, by gravity, to remain in one or other of its effective positions. The track ramps are pivoted at one end and are raised by toggle-levers, one of which is pivoted on a rock-shaft operated from the cabin. One track ramp is placed near the distance signal and another near the home signal. |
