Zusammenfassung: | 1,070,016. Moulding hollow bodies. DUNLOP RUBBER CO. Ltd. May 1, 1964 [May 11, 1963], No. 18737/63. Heading B5A. [Also in Division B8] A tapering part of a collapsible container is made by assembling on a tapering former 1 (Fig. 1, not shown) a plurality of plies of textile material 2, 6, 7 (Fig. 2, not shown) embedded in a flexible elastomeric composition and consolidating the assembly during vulcanization of the elastomeric composition by exhausting the air between the assembly and a flexible impervious bag 14 (Fig. 5, not shown) secured thereover. Parallel strips (2) of rubberized weftless nylon cord fabric may be laid lengthwise of the former (1) over a layer of polychloroprene composition thereon, and ribbons (6, 7) of rubberized weftless cord fabric wound spirally over the strips (2), the assembly being covered by a further layer of polychloroprene composition. The flexible bag (14) is then applied and vulcanization effected in an autoclave whilst connecting the interior of the bag to a vacuum source. |
