Zusammenfassung: | Weakly basic anion exchange resins are produced by a process of amination of a haloalkylated copolymer of a monovinyl aromatic compound and 0.1 to 2% of a compound containing two or more vinyl groups, wherein the haloalkylated copolymer is swollen in an organic solvent and, after removal of excess solvent, is treated at 0 DEG to 100 DEG C. with a primary or secondary di- or polyamine containing 0 to 30% water and up to 5 carbon atoms between two nitrogen atoms. The monovinyl monomer is e.g. styrene, vinyl toluene, an ethyl styrene or a methyl styrene and the comonomer may be divinyl benzene, trivinyl benzene or ethyl divinyl benzene. The solvent is e.g. an aromatic hydrocarbon, a halogenated hydrocarbon, dioxan, formamide or dimethyl formamide. The amine may be ethylene diamine, propylene diamine, dipropylene triamine, diethylene triamine, a polyethylene imine or dimethylamino propylamine. |
