Zusammenfassung: | 1,055,632. Circuit assemblies. INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATION. April 9, 1964 [May 30, 1963], No 21632/63. Heading H1R. In a read-only memory device, Figs. 4, 5, each of a plurality of matrix sub-assemblies 12 comprises a sheet of epoxy-glass or -paper having on one side a number of parallel drive conductors D1 &c., formed with capacitor plates (shown hatched in Fig. 4) where desired, and on the other side a number of conductors CP &c., running at right angles to the drive conductors and registering with the capacitor plates; these sub-assemblies 12 are mounted on a tape cable 11 comprising a plastics sheet bearing on one side a number of sense line conductors SP &c. in register with conductors CP &c. from which they are insulated by a dielectric film 17, and on the other side a ground plane conductor 16. The drive conductors are thus capacitively coupled via conductors CP &c. to the sense line conductors at the locations of the capacitor plates. |
