Zusammenfassung: | Carbon-black-containing hydrocarbon oils having a boiling range of 150-350 DEG C. are regenerated with simultaneous recovery of petroleum coke by introducing the oil and with oxygen or an oxygen-containing gas into a fluidized bed of petroleum coke, the oil being introduced at such a distance above the point at which the oxygen is introduced that the oxygen reacts only with the petroleum coke present in the lower portion of the fluidized bed. Steam and carbon dioxide may also be present. The process is preferably effected at 550-690 DEG C. and 1-1.4 atmospheres. A heavy oil may be cracked in the bed simultaneously with the regeneration. |
