Zusammenfassung: | 1,040,195. Rail trucks. ZAVOD TJAZHELOGO MASHINOSTROENIJA IM. ORDZHONIKIDZE " URALMASHZAVOD ". Feb. 23, 1965, No. 7731/65. Heading B7L. A rail system comprising a self-propelled truck having a load carrying platform 3 supported by two bogies 1 and 2 pivotal about vertical axes in shafts 13 fixed by wedgeshaped members 18 to the platform to permit relative rotation between the platform and the bogies, each bogie having an axle 8, 81 carrying a pair of driving wheels 9, 91, to run on rails 11, 111, and a third side runner 10, 101 for running along a third rail 12 laid along curved portions of the track. A beam 19 is pivoted at 20, 201 along an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the track to one bogie frame 15 and prevents rotation of the bogies along straight portions of the track, but a roller 21 mounted on the beam runs on a fourth rail laid at curved portions of the track then lifting the beam and allowing the bogies to turn freely. Two pairs of guide rollers 22, 221 associated with the bogies respectively embrace the fourth rail and serve to turn the bogie wheels 9, 91 on the curved portions of the track. The shafts 13 are formed at their bottom portions with pairs of legs 16 which straddle the bogie axles and are of sectorshaped cross-section. The upper conical portions of the shafts are supported on frames 15 by means of radial thrust bearings 14, and spherical roller bearings 17 are disposed between the frames and the legs 16. The axles 8, 81 are driven independently by electric motors 5, 51, mounted on plates 4, 41, through reduction gearing 7, 71. |
