Zusammenfassung: | 102,984. Rabady, N. D., and Byson, W. H. Jan. 4, 1916. Visual outdoor signals; rods and wires for operating signals; wire, rod, chain, rope, and like compensators.-The semaphore is moved to " clear " by the weight c which is lowered on to the foot of the rod f. The weight c takes up any expansion of the signal wires. A lever e, to which the signal wires are connected as shown, serves to give increased travel to the weight c. The lever e is slotted over its pivot, so that if the wire b is broken, the lever e may be withdrawn from its pivot by the weight c, which then falls clear of the rod f and the semaphore is reset to danger. |
