Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:1,005,674. Moulding confectionery. BAKER PERKINS Ltd. Jan. 24, 1964 [Dec. 5, 1962], No. 46008/62. Heading B5A. In a continuous fondant moulding process a succession of moulds are fed by a chain conveyer through a dusting station, a filling station, a cooling zone and are then inverted before passing to a discharging station. As described the moulds are of polypropylene and have a plurality of cavities. The dusting unit comprises a hopper containing magnesium stearate fed by a roller and brush to the mould cavities. The filling station comprises a known type of moving head depositor. In the cooling zone the conveyer is fed backwards and forwards in a series of horizontal runs and where the changes of direction occur the moulds are reversed by reversing mechanism of the type shown in Fig. 8. The inverting unit is shown in Fig. 10 and a cam actuated tapping device causes the moulded fondants to fall on to a delivery belt. Specification 405,374 is referred to.
