Zusammenfassung:	La présente invention a pour objet une levure Saccharomyces cerevisiae obtenue par culture de la souche Saccharomyces cerevisiae déposée le 03 mars 2021 auprès de la CNCM sous le numéro I-5660, qui est une levure sèche active présentant les caractéristiques physico-chimiques suivantes :- une teneur en matières sèches supérieure à 95% en poids et pouvant aller jusqu'à 97% en poids ;- une activité de l'eau allant de 0,1 à 0,3 ;- une forme de sphérule ;- une granulométrie caractérisée par une courbe gaussienne de distribution de la taille montrant qu'au moins 90% des sphérules présentent un diamètre allant de 0,3 à 0,7mm.L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de ladite levure pour améliorer la santé intestinale des animaux de compagnie.La présente invention a encore pour objet un facteur d'appétence solide pour animaux de compagnie ou un aliment pour animaux de compagnie, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une levure telle que ci-dessus définie, ladite levure présentant une durée de vie allant de 12 à 24 mois au sein dudit facteur d'appétence ou dudit aliment. The invention relates to a Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast obtained by culturing the Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain deposited on 3 March 2021 with the CNCM under number I-5660, which is an active yeast strain having the following properties: - a dry matter content of greater than 95% by weight and up to 97% by weight; a water activity of 0.1 to 0.3; a spherule shape; a particle size distribution characterised by a Gaussian size distribution curve showing that at least 90% of the spherules have a diameter ranging from 0.3 to 0.7 mm; a stability ranging from 24 to 36,months, when in vacuum packaging and at a temperature of 15 to 25°C. The invention also relates to the use of said yeast for improving the intestinal health of pets. The invention also relates to a composition for pets, characterised in that it comprises a yeast as defined above, said yeast having a shelf life that ranges from 12 to 24 months within said composition. Such a composition may be a solid palatability enhancer or a kibble comprising, for example, said palatability enhancer. The invention further relates to the use of said composition for improving the intestinal health of pets.
