L'invention concerne une borne anti-déflagration (1) d'une terminaison (T) d'un câble (9) de transport électrique à haute tension, la borne définissant une enceinte étanche (8) autour de la terminaison, et étant pourvue d'un dispositif de décharge de pression interne (28) en cas de survenue d'une surtension dans la terminaison. La borne comporte un manchon (5) retenu à une platine supérieure (7) délimitant ensemble l'enceinte étanche en partie haute. La platine supérieure comporte un fourreau (12) solidaire du manchon, une plaque (16) et un moyen de fermeture (23, 24) pour retenir la plaque en contact étanche (22) avec le fourreau, tel que le dispositif de décharge de pression interne comporte une rondelle à épaulement (28) coopérant avec le moyen de fermeture et le fourreau.
