L'invention concerne un dispositif manuel (1) pour infuser dans un réceptacle rempli d'eau des extraits de végétaux en sachet, tels que du thé ou de la tisane, et comportant deux éléments de pressage (20 ; 30) mobiles l'un par rapport à l'autre entre au moins une première position écartée de réception du sachet et une seconde position rapprochée d'essorage dudit sachet pendant ou après infusion, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte :- un socle inférieur (10) comme point d'appui formant un contrepoids et permettant audit dispositif (1) de se tenir tout seul sensiblement verticalement dans le réceptacle,- un premier élément fixe de pressage (20) fixé audit socle inférieur (10), et- un second élément mobile de pressage (30) monté sur un premier bras long (11) dressé à partir dudit socle inférieur (10) et articulé par rapport à ce dernier pour faire passer le second élément mobile de pressage (30) d'une première position reculée inactive pour la réception du sachet à une seconde position avancée d'essorage dudit sachet par pression entre lesdits deux éléments (20 ; 30).
