La présente invention se rapporte à l'utilisation cosmétique d'extrait de cellules méristématiques de Syringa vulgaris L. pour une action pour une action anti-âge de la peau et/ou de ses annexes et/ou des muqueuses. La présente invention se rapporte également à une utilisation d'une composition cosmétique ou dermatologique anti-âge comprenant un extrait de cellules méristématiques de Syringa vulgaris L. et un véhicule cosmétiquement et/ou dermatologiquement acceptable, ladite composition comprenant 0,00001 à 5 % en poids dudit extrait de cellules méristématiques de Syringa vulgaris L. par rapport au poids total de la composition, pour une action anti-âge de la peau et/ou de ses annexes et/ou des muqueuses.
