Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a lithium battery cathode with different sulfide type lithium ion conductors. The present invention relates to a cathode 10 of a lithium battery 1. The cathode 10 comprises cathode active material particles 11. In order to provide the lithium battery 1 with improved cycle stability and calendar storage time in a cost-effective manner, the cathode active material particles11 are coated with at least a first sulfide-type lithium ion conductor 12, wherein the coated cathode active material particles 11, 12 are embedded in a second sulfide type lithium ion conductor 13 different from the first sulfide type lithium ion conductor, and 13 is a binary sulfide type lithium ion conductor. Further, the present invention relates to a method of manufacturing the cathode 10 ofa lithium battery 1 and a corresponding lithium battery 1.
