Illumination arrangement for climatic test cabinets or growth cabinets, comprises light source (26) which is arranged between a panel (24) of light-permeable material and a panel (22) which is at least partially light-reflective on the side facing towards the light source, where a hole pattern (28) made from a light-impermeable material is arranged on the panel of light-permeable material, where the side of the hole pattern facing towards the light source is light-reflective. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) climatic test cabinet or growth cabinet comprising the illumination arrangement; (2) method for determining a hole pattern which homogenizes the light intensity distribution of a given light source arrangement over a given placement area, involving determining the light intensity distribution of the light source arrangement on the placement area, determining mean light intensity, identifying regions of the light intensity distribution and determining the extent to which the light intensity must be attenuated in each of the regions to achieve the mean light intensity, determining which proportion of the corresponding region of the surface of a light-permeable panel arranged between the light source arrangement and the placement area must be covered with a light-impermeable material to achieve the desired attenuation, determining the hole pattern in such a way, that light impermeable material is applied in the region of the surface and holes are formed to achieve the determined proportion of closed surface area relative to the surface area of the holes. |
