Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a driver-assistance device for a motor vehicle, comprising a camera (9) which can generate a first mapping of the environment around the motor vehicle (8), a time-of-flight sensor (12) which can generate a second mapping of the environment around the vehicle (8), and a driver-assistance module comprising: a merge unit which can generate a fine mapping of the environment to the front of the vehicle, said fine mapping being generated by the merge unit according to the first mapping and the second mapping; and a movement calculation unit which can generate an acceleration set value for the vehicle according to the fine mapping of the environment around the vehicle.
