The method comprises a step (11) of storing heat energy in the body of the electrical storage unit, then a step (12) of transferring heat energy to a heating means for heating the interior, especially during a pre-conditioning operation carried out on the interior. The invention applies preferably to rechargeable hybrid electric and electric vehicles.
