Zusammenfassung:	- The invention relates to a device for preparation of foodstuffs, comprising: -a working tool (30) rotatable around an axis of rotation (R), - a working enclosure accommodating the working tool (30), the enclosure having a chute (23) for introducing the foodstuffs to be processed, - a plunger (40) that can be displaced in the chute (23) in order to push the foodstuffs towards the working tool (30), the plunger (40) comprising a lower wall (41) having a lower face (42) for pushing the foodstuffs towards the working tool (30), the lower wall (41) being linked to an upper gripping section by at least one post, the cross-section of the post or posts being less than the cross-section of the lower wall (41). - In accordance with the invention, the lower wall (41) has a thickness less than the maximum clearance between the chute (23) and the lower wall (41).
