Zusammenfassung:	The device (4) has a tension element (101) that forces a rod (90) in the opening direction. The rod has an actuating surface (114) on which a movable arm (70) is supported against the urging force of the tension element such that a flap (82) is positioned in the closed position when a holding element (44) is in the retracted position. The movable arm is released so that the rod rotates under the influence of the urging force in the opening direction and the flap is displaced into the open position when the holding element is displaced into opened-out position. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a display system; and (2) a vehicle trim element.
