Zusammenfassung:	The radiator (1) has a temperature probe (2) to measure a temperature of a coolant in a tubular structure (10), and a control unit (5) to control an electric supply unit (4) of a heating element (3) depending on the measured temperature of the coolant. The control unit includes an arming/disarming unit to disarm the electrical supply of the heating element when the coolant temperature is greater than or equal to a predefined threshold value, and to reset the electric supply of the heating element when the coolant temperature is below the predefined threshold value. An independent claim is also included for a method for heating by using a towel-drying radiator.
