Zusammenfassung: | The decoder (3) has a processor (33) for implementing a time shift function in a part of recording medium i.e. time shift buffer memory (32). The processor includes a transcoding unit to transcode the received data to reduce quantity of data to be recorded before recording the data in the buffer memory. A detection unit detects that the buffer memory has reached a filling level greater than a preset threshold value. The transcoding unit transcodes the data only when the threshold value is exceeded and when flow of the data t is greater than a determined flow. An independent claim is also included for a method for receiving and recording audio video data on a recording medium.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de réception et d'enregistrement de données audio vidéo sur un support d'enregistrement, le dispositif comprenant un processeur pour implémenter une fonction de décalage temporel dans une partie du support d'enregistrement appelée mémoire tampon de décalage temporel.
